Revision of A1056-20 Standard Specification for Cast Iron Couplings Used for Joining Hubless Cast Iron Soil Pipe and Fittings
Rationale
A1056 Specification for Cast Iron Couplings used for joining hubless cast iron soil pipes and fittings was first approved in 2017 and the manufacturer of the couplings covered by this standard has discontinued manufacturing these couplings. Other manufacturers are expected to begin manufacturing these couplings and perhaps propose revisions. The purpose of this work item is to provide an opportunity for new manufacturers to review and submit changes to the existing standard specification.
