Within the Standards covered under Committee C27 there are many terms that are uses in different standards with slightly different meanings. This new standard will combine these into a single meaning for usein the inductry. This standard will also provide a single source for users to find terms relating to Committee C27 standards.
The title and scope are in draft form and are under development within this ASTM Committee.
