New Test Methods for Standard Test Methods for Wildfire and Built Environment Investigations.

1. Scope

Part of a suite of ASTM standards for such investigations. This is much more than just understanding and determining ash, char, and soot, but the dynamics of particles and chemical hazards involved in these typical catastrophic events. Insurance, IH, occupational, built, regulatory, and other stakeholders are eager for this to move forward.
