This guide provides recommended referenced procedures and processes to maintain existing crop yields or consider more viable crops for the water resources that exist or will exist in the near future.

Rationale
Changes in rainfall intensity and drought conditions have made it critical to understand and accommodate the changes experienced by climate change and the impact on agricultural applications. Such guidelines will assist governments throughout the world to plan for the impact from these events.
