Revision of F2098-24 Standard Specification for Stainless Steel Clamps for Securing SDR9 Cross-linked Polyethylene (PEX) Tubing and SDR9 Polyethylene of Raised Temperature (PE-RT) to Metal Insert and Plastic Insert Fittings
Rationale
Adding a dimension to Table 1 in F2098 to include a commonly used in the industry clamp thickness. In Table 1, "T1" for 1 inch is missing a common size. 1 mm thickness needs to be added. This thickness has been used and approved to F2098 for more than a decade. A recent change to F2098 made the Thickness dimension on Table 1 critical so this size needs to be included.
