This method is for determining the accelerated storage stability of distillate fuel oils. It is valuable for providing rapid information which indicates the tendency of an oil to form sediment and color in storage. It is also very useful as a rapid screening test for evaluating various inhibitors that may be added to promote the storage stability of fuel oils.
