Compression Testing of Aluminum-Boron Composites

This paper presents methods for obtaining the mechanical behavior of aluminum-boron composites in compression. The property data obtained is compared with tensile data, and then used to predict the failure of simple structural elements. The analytical predictions are then confirmed by structural element tests.
