(a) This method covers the procedure for quantitative measurement of the surface tension of industrial water and industrial waste water. The method is based on instrumental measurement by the ring method and offers the most precise and accurate determination. (b) This test is not intended to show any direct relationship between surface tension and concentration of surface-active agents.
