This section deals with the data submitted on the questionnaire under “Corroding Media and Service Conditions,” and under “Comments.” With respect to the information presented under “Comments,” there is little consistency in the thought or critical evaluation applied to this item. In order to evaluate these comments, it has been necessary to refer to information presented in other parts of the summary and use this to amplify the conclusions reached by the various contributors. The comments are, therefore, not discussed separately, but have been taken into consideration in reviewing the data under “Corroding Media and Service Conditions.” This review follows, in general, the headings given under “Comments.”
