Analytical Methods and Instrumentation for Determining Cyanogen Compounds

This paper discusses the meaning of certain well-known methods of analysis for cyanogen compounds in the evaluation of treatment requirements and results of treatment of industrial wastes. The experience of the authors with the use of instrumentation for the determination of cyanides and for the measurement and control of the extent of treatment in the oxidation of cyanides by chlorine or hypochlorite reagents is also described. Some methods of analysis for cyanates are reviewed.
