The capabilities and limitations of methods of test for color, gloss, and haze are discussed and adaptations of the methods are described. Methods of test published by the Society are: Color—D 307, D 791; Gloss—D 523; Haze—D 1003. Some problems associated with the correlation of subjective estimates of these appearance attributes with objective measurements are discussed.
