Neutron and Photon Dosimetry at the LR-0 Reactor Using Paired Detectors
SourcePaired thermoluminescence dosimeters and ionization chambers were used for characterizing mixed (neutron and photon) radiation fields at the LR-0, a zero power model of VVER reactors. Detector responses were investigated in standard photon and thermal neutron fields. A good agreement was obtained among the doses measured with the two methods. Furthermore, the measured photon and neutron attenuation values are consistent with those from evaluated, independent data.
