Neutron Activation Analysis of Traces of Molybdenum in Tungsten

A sensitive neutron activation analysis procedure for the determination of trace amounts of molybdenum in tungsten is described. The molybdenum is separated from the tungsten prior to measurement by a series of precipitations and extractions. The limit of detection of the method is 0.02 μg of molybdenum.
