The central standards body in Hungary is the Hungarian Office for Standardization (MSZH). Its principal tasks and functions, based on the theoretical work and practice of Hungarian standardization of the past several decades, are quality specifications, reduction of variety of types and sizes, and unification of drawings, units, symbols, nomenclature and definitions, etc.
