Helium Leak Detector Test for Nuclear Reactor Welds
SourceThe helium leak detector test provides a method for detecting the presence of minute holes, cracks, fissures, and similar defects in the jackets of reactor fuel elements which would allow moisture to penetrate to the uranium during reactor operation.
