Twenty-seven years ago on June 25, 1925, 23 representatives from the coatings and allied industries met in Haddon Hall, Atlantic City, and organized Subcommittee XXV on Cellulose Ester Coatings. The organization of the new Subcommittee was prompted by the intense interest being shown in the new fast-drying nitrocellulose lacquers then appearing on the market.
