A Review of Flame Photometry
SourceIn presenting the first paper at a symposium on flame photometry, one might be expected to create a background for the papers which follow. To do this, it is desirable not only to review some of the more important accomplishments in the field, but also to describe limitations and advantages which are inherent in the method. Since the intelligent choice of a method presumes an understanding of other methods, it is appropriate to describe the problems which led to the development of flame photometry and briefly examine some of the other methods which are available.
