The following general areas relating to water penetration testing of exterior windows, curtain walls, and doors are covered: (1) historical background (2) static pressure water leakage testing including test for water penetration of exterior windows, curtain walls, and doors by uniform static air pressure differential (E 331-70), (3) dynamic pressure water leakage testing, and (4) comparison and limitations of current static and dynamic test methods.
