SourceThe scope of Committee A-5 on Corrosion of Iron and Steel is given as “The collection of engineering information relating to the serviceability of both bare and metallic-coated iron and steel products when subject to corrosion and the formulation of methods of tests and specifications, and work on related subjects.” Subcommittee XV of Committee A-5 is responsible for the atmospheric corrosion of wire and wire products, both bare and with metallic coatings.
