Round Robin Testing of Acoustic Emission Source

Source

The use of a martensitic phase transformation in Au-47.5 atomic percent Cd alloy as a source of acoustic emissions is discussed. The use of this source as a standard provided a means of comparing acoustic emission data from several laboratories. The results of round robin testing of this alloy at various laboratories are also presented.
