Recommended Practice for Determining the Effectiveness and Safety of Aquatic Animal Control Agents in Static Water Studies
SourceThis recommended practice describes procedures for testing the effectiveness of aquatic animal control agents and for determining the effect of these agents on nontarget organisms under actual-use conditions. The field tests are recommended after basic relative toxicity data have been established by laboratory tests. Federal and state regulations pertaining to field testing of pesticides must be followed. Data obtained using this practice should generally be applicable to some requirements for registration of an aquatic control agent.
