Dry Bait Laboratory Efficacy Test Method

This laboratory test was designed to determine the effectiveness of toxic baits used against pine and meadow voles. The test is adaptable for both single-feeding and multiple-feeding rodenticides. A new challenge diet for voles has also been developed, and the rationale for its use is discussed. A vole toxicant tested with this method is considered satisfactory if a 90 percent vole mortality is achieved.
