Problems in robot application depend on the particular operation the robot has to perform and the environment in which it has to work. Though robots are becoming an essential and familiar feature in many manufacturing processes, they suffer from certain drawbacks. In this paper, an attempt has been made to pinpoint these problems and to indicate some possible solutions.
