This paper briefly describes applications of neutron radiography and gaging to nuclear components. Neutron-based examinations have the unique ability to discriminate between isotopes and to inspect radioactive materials. Applications of neutrons to radiography and gaging include neutron transmission, neutron scatter, neutron production, and measurement of radiation produced by neutron interactions.
