Report on the Nonferrous Metals Workshop

Three methods of separating nonferrous metals (principally aluminum) from municipal refuse were discussed and ranked with respect to several characteristics. There is no clearly “best” method today; much development is necessary. Seven action areas were defined to assist recycling of nonferrous metals.
