A Monitor for the Continuous Measurement of Suspended Solids in Liquids

Source

A development suspended solids monitor based on measurement of the depolarization of backscattered polarized light has been designed and constructed. Limited field testing indicates that this monitor when submerged in a waste stream can continuously monitor the suspended solids concentration under a variety of conditions.
