Verification of Source Emission Analyzer Data
SourceThe accuracy of analytical measurements is controlled by a variety of factors. One of the most significant is the calibration technique utilized for the interpretation of the instrument output. Others are the presence of interfering species or the presence of random errors due to environmental, instrumental, or operator changes. The calibration of in situ analytical systems poses new requirements for the instrument manufacturer and user. Calibration techniques and verification of their authenticity in providing accurate in situ data are discussed in this paper.
