Survey of Utility Experience with Reactor Vessel Surveillance
SourceChanges in upper shelf energies and in transition temperatures of reactor vessel steels and weld metals, as reported by utilities, appear to be less than those currently predicted, and do not appear to be simply a function of fluence. Other possible contributing factors are suggested, as is expanded analysis of surveillance specimens.
