A formulation chemist strives to develop formulations of pesticides with stable chemical and physical integrity. Situations may arise in which one has to understand the what and why of formulation chemistry in order to destroy the chemical and physical stability of the formulated product. This paper will demonstrate how the formulation chemist's input is an integral part of an emergency response system.
