The International Activities of Infoterm and the TermNet Programs

This is a report on the achievements of Infoterm in the ten years since its foundation, and its future developments, activities, and plans for establishing full international cooperation in terminology. In particular it describes the development of TermNet and the aims of its three programs. In this network for terminology Infoterm plays the role of coordinator and organizer of the data flow. The benefits that the international community derives from these activities are listed, and an overview of the many aspects of terminology science and work are given.
