Chapter II—Design Review

Source

In earlier chapters, design disciplines having a significant bearing on quality were discussed such as mission and environmental analysis, reliability and maintainability quantitative analysis, consequence analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, safety factor analysis, and maintenance task analysis. The need for these disciplines will have been identified in the project quality plan and possibly, more specifically, in a project design quality plan. Recall that the design quality management systems for each of these disciplines may have required that they culminate in the publication of an analytical report.
