Further Developments on the Modified -Integral

This paper shows new developments on the modified J-integral, J_M. General formulas are presented, and a physical interpretation is given in terms of energy differences. Also defined are the apparent stored energy, A, and a generalized pseudo crack driving force, Q. A general approach is presented so that for each particular material law used, the corresponding crack drive parameter is obtained.
