A Macroscopic Model of Eddy Currents

In many applications only the macroscopic effects of eddy currents (those observable at the electrical terminals of an electromagnetic device) are of interest. In these cases eddy currents, hysteresis, and magnetic saturation are readily modeled using coupled electric and magnetic equivalent circuits.
