Finding an accurate means of evaluating worker exposure to hazardous materials has been the goal of industrial hygiene. The measurement of workroom contaminant levels has been and will continue to be a primary element of hazard evaluation. Biological data are also important factors that permit more complete evaluations. This presentation reviews studies that demonstrate useful techniques and parameters for correlating air samples and bioassays.
