Statistical Primer for Brick Masonry
SourceMethods of sampling and statistical data reduction applicable to brick masonry are reviewed. Techniques for plotting histograms and probability density functions for normal and log normal distributions are discussed. Criteria for establishing sample size and specification requirements are enumerated. Binary operations with variables are illustrated. The concept of structural reliability is introduced. Seventeen log-normal graphs of various brick masonry properties are included.
