Rat and Mouse Acute Liquid Bait Test Method

A method to assess the efficacy of an acute water bait is discussed in considerable detail. The test allows rats and mice a free choice between an acute toxicant-treated water bait and tap water. It is a three-day test. The test solution is considered effective if there is a 90 percent mortality in the rodents tested.
