Preliminary Report on the AGARD Evaluation of Variables Affecting High Temperature Creep Results
SourceThe Advisory Group for Aerospace Research and Development (AGARD), a NATO committee, engaged in an interlaboratory study of high temperature creep testing facilities and techniques. The program utilized factorial design and analysis. Nimonic 105 was tested at 900 C by 18 volunteer laboratories. Preliminary results have permitted statistical evaluation of interlaboratory variability and of the significance of some testing and material variables which affect creep results.
