Herbicidal Root Control in Sewer Lines Requires Unique Application Techniques
SourceRoot intrusion into sewer lines creates a variety of problems. Herbicides have advantages in controlling roots, particularly in providing residual control. However, unique problems occur in applying herbicides in sewer lines. The problems and solutions will be demonstrated by tracing the evolution of the Vaporooter® product line through spraying, soaking, and foaming techniques.
