On-the-go application of dry and liquid herbicides with dry granular fertilizer is a successful commercial reality. Liquid herbicide is coated on dry granular fertilizer in a patented process in the boom tube of a pneumatic applicator. The process takes a fraction of a second, it greatly reduces herbicide contamination of handling equipment and simplifies clean up. Dry granular herbicides are metered individually into each boom tube and blended with dry granular fertilizer on-the-go.
