Evolving Non-Swelling Elastomers For High Pressure Oxygen Environments
SourceThe swelling characteristics of five specially designed elastomers under high pressure oxygen have been studied. The test programme has simulated actual service conditions and a number of variables such as gas pressure, temperature and moisture content have been systematically studied. The results which are interpreted with respect to the materials' structure and strength compare favourably with earlier work.
