The water dispersible granule formulation has become a significant form of pesticidal delivery system. With this rise in the production of water dispersible granules, testing has become a priority. This paper outlines the methods used to test the quality of a water dispersible granule prior to field use. The test areas discussed are dispersibility or suspendibility, fertilizer and co-pesticide compatibility and wettability. All these areas contain many test methods by which to evaluate a water dispersible granule. The most popular methods are discussed.
