Enhancement of STAYSL_PNNL with IRDFF/V1.05 to 60 MeV
SourceThe STAYSL_PNNL computer code was revised to add 12 new neutron activation cross sections from the International Reactor Dosimetry and Fusion File, IRDFF/V1.05, and to extend the energy range from 20 to 60 MeV. Users now have the option to use a variety of neutron cross section libraries from 69 to 725 energy groups. Neutron cross section needs are discussed for neutron spectral adjustments at higher neutron energies where specific activation products can be produced by multiple isotopes of the same element.
