ASTM Reformulated Gasoline Standards for a Clean Environment
SourceASTM has a 90-year history of providing an open forum for representatives from industry, government, academia, and the general-interest sector to develop high-quality, voluntary consensus standards. At this time, there is an urgent need for ASTM Committee D-2 on Petroleum Products and Lubricants to develop standards for automobile gasolines reformulated to reduce emissions, along with new methods to measure fuel composition and properties rapidly and with good precision. The result will be ASTM fuel standards for cleaner air.
