Technical Classification of Crude Natural Rubber

The author was present at the meeting of Subcommittee XII on Crude Natural Rubber of Committee D-11, held at Atlantic City in June, 1951, and had the opportunity of reviewing the developments in Technically Classified (T.C.) natural rubber up to that date. Important further developments have occurred in the past 12 months, and this paper summarizes the progress made to date, especially from the point of view of the suitability of the test methods used.
