Field studies, surveys, and building investigations are often performed to measure or predict the magnitude of several possible indoor air pollutant exposures and, frequently, to assess potential adverse results of such exposures in populations. This paper focuses on the procedures for indoor air quality data acquisition, processing, and integration for analysis. This includes the basic, practical aspects of implementing field surveys, especially questionnaire development and administration. Recommended procedures are presented, including the use of standardized methods of measurements.
