D8609 - Test Method for Determination of Particle Size and Shape Analysis of Catalyst and Catalyst Carriers by Dynamic Imaging Analyzers
The precision of this research report is based on an interlaboratory study of D8609, Test Method for Determination of Particle Size and Shape Analysis of Catalyst and Catalyst Carriers by Dynamic Imaging Analyzers, conducted in 2025. 7 laboratories reported data for this study. Each of the laboratories were asked to report 2 replicates test results on a total of 4 materials on various particle widths. Every “test result” represents an individual determination. Practice ASTM E691 was followed for the design of the study and analysis of the data; the details are given in ASTM Research Report No D32-2002.
