D7309 - Test Method for Determining Flammability Characteristics of Plastics and Other Solid Materials Using Microscale Combustion Calorimetry
The precision of this research report is based on an interlaboratory study of D7309, Test Method for Determining Flammability Characteristics of Plastics and Other Solid Materials Using Microscale Combustion Calorimetry, conducted in 2026. 22 laboratories reported data for this study. Each of the laboratories were asked to report 3 replicates test results on a total of 6 materials. Every “test result” represents an individual determination. Practice ASTM E691 was followed for the design of the study and analysis of the data; the details are given in ASTM Research Report No D20-2013.
