C1382-Test Method for Determining Tensile Adhesion Properties of Sealants When Used in Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) Joints
This research report presents the results of the Interlaboratory Study used to establish the precision and bias statement for ASTM C1382-11 Determining Tensile Adhesion Properties of Sealants When Used in Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems EIFS Joints. The collaborative study included 4 labs that used method C1382 to analyze three sealant types: One component silicone, one component polysulphide and multi-component polyurethane. This Interlaboratory Study was performed during the development of the test method in 1996. The research report presents summary method performance statistics as well as the measurement data used to calculate results for the study.
