This chapter describes agricultural chemical formulations and systems to efficiently deliver them on surfaces of interest. Surfactants are the key components of these formulations because for agricultural chemicals to work effectively, formulations must wet the plant surfaces and spread and adhere on them so the chemical can penetrate and perform its intended function. While there are many kinds of agricultural chemical delivery systems, the dispersion and emulsion types are the most efficient.
