The 1972 Photographic Exhibit held during the Society's 75th Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, California exemplified the importance of photography to the understanding of materials and their performance. In addition, the ASTM Photographic Exhibit over its forty years of existence has contained outstanding examples of the newest techniques available to engineer and scientist.
